My parting words for my dear friend, Silvia Llorens:
The first time I met Silvia Llorens was in 1990, when I was at Flag on the Graduate Class 5 Auditor Internship. I was sent to see her with a cramming order I had just received. Since I was already on NED for OT’s (NOT’s), I had the privilege to be crammed by her, along with the other Flag Class 9 and Class 12 auditors. Silvia’s room was small, behind her all the required LRH references, and on her table an e-meter and an ashtray overflowing with cigarette butts.
I entered her room fearfully. She had a serious expression on her face while reading the details of the errors I had committed on my PC. I was worried that she might crucify me. But then, very swiftly and with high ARC, she gave me the auditing action that comes prior to cramming (“cramming ruds”) and instantly the sun broke through the cloudy skies. Silvia lit a cigarette, puffing out smoke as the cigarette hang out of her mouth. She stretched her arm behind her back, without turning to look at the back shelf, pulled out the correct Tech Volume, opened it at the right page and pointed at the precise paragraph, “You see Tami, this is what Ron says you should apply in session in such a situation.” My jaw dropped and I expressed concern for damage I may have caused. Silvia continued reassuringly, “Don’t worry, you didn’t kill the preclear. Go back in session and handle him with this piece of Tech.”
The bright sun shined on me; all the clouds had scattered. I went from the bottom of the Emotional Tone Scale all the way up to Enthusiasm and then into Action! I was soon back in the auditor’s chair, with certainty and resolve to apply the Tech.
This scenario with Silvia repeated itself over the next several months. At the beginning of the internship, 2-3 times a week. Then, less frequently since I had fewer cramming orders and later there were only rare corrections. Finally came two-three weeks without any corrections, all sessions were Very Well Done. Soon I did the mandatory high hours and … BOOM … the final Video Pass!
Silvia played a major role in my success. She was living proof of the workability of Standard Tech, a model of dedication, of the burning desire to train perfect auditors.
In 1992, Dani and I left Flag and returned home to Haifa to open Dror Center. We were both auditing on Solo NED for OT’s (OT 7). Every summer, for the following 15 years, we would travel to Flag to do our compulsory 6-months check. On each trip I brought with me a suitcase full of P/C folders, sitting in line with Flag’s top auditors and C/S’s, waiting for my miraculous cramming sessions with Silvia. In every such session, she saved me from going astray and put me on the right path of application of Standard Tech.
Later, Silvia was posted as a Class 9 Auditor at the Flag Advanced Org. Dani tells me he had terrific sessions with her. After that, she held the post of Solo NOTs D of P and in a letter of 17 December 2000 she commended Dani for the good job he was doing as a Solo NOTs Auditor. See here:

At this stage, I no longer enjoyed the luxury of getting crammed by Silvia, but we always kept in touch as close friends.
And then, around 2007, we no longer saw her at Flag. When Dani inquired after Silvia, he was told she was on a “special project, uplines.” We later found out this was a typical lie. She was gone for good.
When we announced our departure from the church in June 2012 – what a shocker! – one of the first congratulatory emails we received was from Silvia. She was thrilled to see we were out and free and told us she had already left the Church of Scientology in 2007. With our support and encouragement, Silvia gave her eyewitness account of what she saw at Flag and the corrupt conduct of the Church’s tyrant, David Miscavige, whom she saw grossly violating LRH’s Tech on many occasions.
When we told Silvia that Dror Center was determined to continue delivering the Tech standardly, she was thrilled and offered to train us on whatever was needed. Our answer was “Sure!” Who would say no to one of the world’s top Tech experts? Silvia arrived in January 2013 and stayed with us three months. She delivered to Aviv Bershadsky and me a full internship as an OT Levels Review Auditor (‘Class 9’).
First, with Silvia, we verified we had all the materials of NED for OTs, the last major level developed by LRH in 1978. Then, we worked on the packs, lists, and forms required for complete and accurate delivery. This included working out the proper Pre-OT Indoctrination Steps for each of the NOTs Rundowns, the checklists for the steps of audited NOTs, the checksheet for the Solo NOTs Auditor Course, and the separate Solo NOTs C/S’s. Then we drilled how to deliver it all to our public.
On this same visit, Silvia trained us on delivery of the Clear Certainty Rundown Course. We established Dror’s CCRD Team consisting of three auditors and C/S’s and since then many of our public attested to the State of Clear. We were establishing a real Advance Org in Haifa, delivering the entirety of LRH’s Bridge to Spiritual Freedom! This means, no longer crazy flights to Clearwater paying exorbitant prices for the Church’s gross out-Tech. Moreover, people from around the world can go up the full Route to Spiritual Freedom, 100% standardly and at sensible prices.

With Silvia we celebrated Ron’s birthday at which opportunity she gave an inspiring talk. Silvia presented a brief overview of her background and quoted vital LRH references about the role of Qual and the Cramming Officer. Finally, she shared with us what brought her to Dror and her acquaintance with Dani and me.
When all was done, Silvia and I enjoyed a few wonderful days on vacation in Jerusalem, I cherish these moments. She moved back to Los Angeles, then back home to Mexico – we maintained close communication with her throughout these years.

Silvia constantly inquired about our progress and expansion. When we embarked on the LifePower project she was thrilled – real hope for the advancement of Hubbard’s philosophy for future generations. Silvia insisted that she translates the LifePower book into Spanish, we now also have the Complete Communication Manual in Spanish.

A few days ago, we were informed by Silvia’s family that she passed away. Here is Silvia’s message to her friends:
"I have departed this period of life and thus wish to tell you that it was my fortune to have met you. We did enjoy various moments together and I remember them all with a smile. Thank you for what you ever did for me, very appreciated.
I consider I had an excellent life, full of adventures and experiences. Above all, I enjoyed my life tremendously.
I wish you to continue yours, creating every moment of it together with your family and friends.
Love, SILVIA"

And in closing, my farewell to her:
My dear Silvia – You have all my thanks and admiration for what you have done for me in this lifetime. Because you are so highly trained, your purpose was always aimed on helping others with Ron’s Tech. I am sure you will now find a worthy game for your new life. And I’m sure we will meet again, somewhere sometime in the future.
Bon voyage, much love, Tami

I had a honor to be trained and checked by Silvia in 2013 in Dror center, when I started my journey on Solo NOTS. Silvia’s training level was well seen each time we meet.
Thank you very much, dear Silvia!
All the best to you!
Thank you Al x!

Tami
Thanks to Silvia we can all now flourish with standard tech and excellent auditors in Dror center
Thank you Tami for an amazing story. Thank you, Silvia! A fundamental part of it is your – Tami’s and Dani’s intention to provide 100% technology. I am happy that you built Dror and protected the technology and that you are our friends. Thank you for introducing me to the wonderful Silvia in this way, I now understand more about our journey. Now it is Dror who trains us and who we can rely on 100%. You are amazing.
With love Ivana
So sad to hear of Sylvia’s passing. I remember her from her days in RTC.
She was a lovely person, no question about it.
Love,
Dan Koon
Hello Dan, Thank you for your kind words. Silvia and you at RTC … a long time ago. You both did so much for Ron and the Tech. We are still carrying the torch forward. Your invitation to visit Dror is still open. Best wishes, Dani
Thank you Silvia for all you have done and will I’m sure continue. See you again as the adventure of the game where everybody wins pays forward.
Hey Jim, Good to hear from you. Thank you for the kind words and for following us. All the best, Dani
I never got to meet Silvia in person but did correspond with her briefly about auditing. She was quite busy at that time but she was kind enough to put me in touch with her close friend Ronit Charny and I will be forever grateful to Silvia for steering me in Ronit’s direction. It changed the whole course of my life and essentially saved me.
All the best to Silvia Llorens…✨
I actually never met Sylvia but I can clearly imagine the magnitude of such a terminal, being a good cramming officer is quite ultimate in Scientology.
Sylvia is the kind of person that I would have been so happy to know.
Thank you Jean!
Much love,
Tami
Tami, Dany and all the Dror Center, you have all my respect for what you have done, do and will do in the future.
I did not know Sylvia and all the impact she had on the keeping of the Tech.
It is always sad for me to “lose” one being of this value in our free scientologists community.
I keep her in my space for maybe new adventures in the future.
All my love to you Dror Center 😉
Hi Val, Thank you for the kind words.
Please write us a message with your name and email address so we can be in comm.
Thanks, Dani
We met Sylvia in 2014. She gave AOGP our first NOTS Pre-OT, as she didn’t want to travel to their home to deliver to this 84 year old woman who had been used as an ATM by the church, sometimes auditing her 14 hour per day! A gross violation of NOTS protocol.
223 sessions later, we completed the Pre-OT on her repair program.
A huge turning point for us with an excellent success story! Silvia was a joy to work with, persistently helpful, super kind, and oh so humble.
I’m sure we will see her again soon! We love you, Silvia, see you soon ❤️🥰

AOGP Co-Executive Directors
Thanks Jonathan and well done to you and your team for what you’re doing. Best wishes, Dani
I never met Sylvia, but anyone with that experience in Scientology is very valuable, and I admire her achievements. She will be back in power as a tech trained OT. Somewhere I don’t recall where, but it is on an HCOB LRH says that a trained Auditor never forgets the Tech. Thank you Sylvia for being there for us at Flag.
Thank you Dani and Tami
