My name is Tami Lemberger, a Scientologist since 1980. I did my first courses at the San Francisco Mission, which was an uptone, on-purpose and fun place. I steadily continued my progress up the Bridge, both sides, training and auditing. I cognited on the value of the Tech and decided to become a professional auditor.
I wanted to be the best so as to help my fellow Men go free. My family and I moved to Clearwater, Florida and for over twenty years I was on lines at Flag. I went up all the way to New OT 7, Solo NOTs, and trained as a Graduate V auditor.
I did all my training at Flag twice. First, in 1990-1991, I did the training necessary to become a Class V Graduate Auditor and I did the Case Supervisor training as well. Concurrent with my training, I continued my progress up the Bridge. In 1991, I completed OT 6, the Solo NOTs Auditor Course, and began the level of New OT VII – Solo NOTs. In 1992, I returned to Israel and established the Dror Mission together with my husband, Dani Lemberger.
In 1996, The Golden Age of Tech was released and I went back to Flag to do the new Certainty Courses and to redo the internships up to Class V Graduate Auditor. I also did the Solo NOTs Certainty Course and continued auditing on this beautiful level.
At Dror, since 1992, I have been auditing and case supervising preclears daily. I was twice presented with the Top International Field Auditor Award, for the years 2000 and 2002, by my good friend, Senior C/S Int, Ray Mithoff.
I am a Scientologist just like you, I love L. Ron Hubbard dearly and I appreciate his wonderful technology. If you are reading this article now, I believe that you, like me, aspire to reach the state of full OT this lifetime. Unfortunately, we have seen that this goal has been hindered by unnecessary actions such as pressure to donate money and many auditing hours spent on futile actions.
Possibly, you were asking yourself if it is sensible to donate to the IAS instead of paying for your own auditing and training. You may have wondered what LRH wrote about this.
Possibly, you were wondering why you are subjected to endless Security Checks. And possibly your achievements have been invalidated by re-running the Purification Rundown, the Objectives and repetitive flattening of the Grades.
Because I care and because LRH’s Tech is the most important thing in my life, I decided some time ago to research these questions. I had to find answers so that I can reach full OT this lifetime, and more important, so that my many pc’s can reach this state. I have decided to present to you, and all my friends, the findings of my research. I have written lately a series of articles with this data and it may be of value to you, if you choose to continue your adventure to full OT.
When you finish reading this series of articles, you will have the exact data where and how you can get to the top of The Bridge without any single donation to the IAS and without losing a single minute for needless Sec Checks or other needless auditing actions. You will get a full acknowledgement of your achievements and successes. And I hope you will feel more free and happy as a being.
Let’s first find out why such enormous pressure is being exerted on you to donate to the IAS.
Where do your donations for IAS really go?
I don’t want to disappoint you, but most of your donations are not used for the purposes promoted by the IAS.
Below is an address by Debbie Cook, who worked in the Sea Org (SO) for 29 years, 17 years of which she served as a Flag’s Captain. During her last year in the SO she was at the International Management Base:
“Currently membership monies are held as Int reserves and have grown to well in excess of a billion dollars… Only the interest earned from the holdings have been used very sparingly to fund projects through grants. In fact many of the activities you see at IAS events are not actually funded by the IAS, but rather by the Scientologists involved.
“Think about it, how many ads disseminating Scientology, Dianetics or any Scn affiliated programs have you seen on TV? Heard on the radio? Seen in newspapers? I haven’t seen one in the 4 years I have lived in San Antonio, Texas, the 7th largest city in the US. How many have you seen?
“Donating anything more than a lifetime membership to the IAS is not based on LRH policy. The article “What Your Donations Buy” (The Auditor, The Monthly Journal of Scientology No. 51, 1970) is clearly talking about how the church uses your donations for Dianetics and Scientology services. Next time you are asked to donate outside of services, realize that you are engaged in fundraising and ask to see something in writing from L. Ron Hubbard that this is something he expects from you as a Scientologist.”
What does LRH write about fundraising?
Here is a quote from HCO PL ‘Org Programming …????” of 24 Feb 1964, Issue II:
“If the org slumps… don’t engage in ‘fund-raising’ or ‘selling postcards’ or borrowing money. Just make more income with Scientology. It’s a sign of very poor management to seek extraordinary solutions for finance outside Scientology. It has always failed.”
“For orgs as for pcs, ‘Solve It With Scientology’.
“Every time I myself have sought to solve financial or personnel in other ways than Scientology I have lost out. So I can tell you from experience that org solvency lies in more Scientology, not patented combs or fund-raising barbeques.”
Thus, if you follow the lines written by Ron, you have to look for an organization that would be efficient and ethical, where problems would be solved with Scientology and where you will not be requested to donate a single dime for anything other than your training and auditing, and where the effort taken by the staff members will also be directed to your auditing and training. Is there an organization such as this? Yes there is. I will talk about this later.
Why are they putting us under pressure and attempting to aggressively recruit us?
I have heard from many students and PCs that the second they walk into an organization, people would immediately begin to to recruit them to become an Org staff member or join staff in the Sea Org.
Why is that? The answer is evident: If a staff member of your local Ideal Org earns a few dollars a week, how long will he last, faithfully and loyally serving the purpose, even the best one of all? How high is the staff turnover in Scientology Organizations? It is massive. How many people do you know to be on staff for over 10 years? Very few. What is their condition? Often it is awful: low havingness, their cases unhandled, a myriad of personal problems, etc.
How long does it take for an organization to train a good auditor? An awfully long time. How soon does he or she quit staff?
My advice to you is to find an organization where staff members have been employed for a long time and have held their posts for many years, where they move up the Bridge and succeed in life. Sounds like a “Mission Impossible”? There is an organization like this, which I will write about later.
Students and PCs have told me that they were not only being recruited, but their reality and their lives were being invalidated by telling them that since they do not wish to become staff members of the Ideal Org or the Sea Org, their sense of duty was low.
This is not true. Let’s just read what Ron writes about this in HCO Bulletin of 10 June 1960, “What we expect of a Scientologist?”
“What do we expect of you? To become the best Scientologist that can be and to get on the comm lines of the world and bring a big win where it counts. We don’t expect you to hang up a shingle as a doctor and have a private practice. We’ll respect you if you do. But we’ll respect you just as much and even more if you get trained as a pro and go out and up in the world of action and of life.
‘We’ll keep centres going to service your needs, some of us, we’ll provide ammunition and books. And the rest of us had better invade every activity there is on a high level of success and make our influence felt on the comm lines of the world. Scientology is the only game on Earth where everybody wins.”
How can you get high quality auditing?
Many people who I communicate with have complained about the robotic approach or the low tone of the auditors, unnecessary security checks and redoing rundowns and the Grades for the second or third time.
You know, I would also become robotic and low tone if I were denied the possibility to move up the Bridge, if I were paid $0 a week and if I were told that anything that I do is not enough.
L. Ron Hubbard wrote in, “Science of Survival”:
Pg. 162, “Thus it is necessary for the auditor, if he is doing constant processing, to keep himself adequately processed elsewhere. Otherwise, the auditor will find himself coming down the Tone Scale in a dwindling spiral, until he is at last unable to handle the entheta he is encountering in cases.”
Pg. 234, “The auditor cares for himself as an auditor. By working with others, he maintains his own processing at regular intervals in order to maintain or raise his own position on the Tone Scale despite restimulation of himself through the process of auditing others. He knows that failure to give heed to his own processing, until he himself is a Release or a Clear in the severest meaning of the terms, is to cost his preclear the benefit of the auditor’s best performance.”
My recommendation to you is, find yourself an auditor who makes progress on his own Bridge .
Long unnecessary Sec Checks?
This is just another way of getting money out of your pocket.
In HCO Bulletin of 31 August 1974 C/S Series 93, (C/S means Case Supervisor) THE NEW GRADE CHART, L. Ron Hubbard writes:
“Some orgs specialize in Grade II, especially on org staff. The pc is always getting Confessionals or his O/Ws pulled on so and so.
“If you look on the Grade Chart you will find withholds and overts are Grade Two.
“Below Grade Two lies Grade I (Problems) and Grade Zero (Communications). And below that is Dianetics and at the bottom end of ‘Dianetics’ is the drug handling.
“Now, how do you expect a fellow who has unhandled drugs (or omitted drug items because of “no interest”) to even know (no Grade 0) that ‘other people are around or that (Grade I) he is caved in with problems he’s never cognited on? ????
“And he’s supposed to have enough responsibility to answer up on Grade II? With real overts and withholds?
“This does not mean you must never Sec Check. It does mean that Sec Checks are no substitute for auditing or guarantee of innocence.”
And what about the Six-Months Check on New OT VII, when you pay more than $7000 for an intensive?
Let us look at HCO Bulletin of 23 December 1971, “Non-Interference Area …????”:
“Pre-OTs in the area between the beginning of New OT VI (Solo NOTs auditing Course) and the completion of New OT VII (Solo NOTs) may not receive any other auditing, with the exception of those services allowed in the Interference Area (between the start of New OT I and the completion of OT III) for pre-OTs who are stalled or moving slowly.”
So how comes everyone who is on New OT VII gets stuck regularly, twice a year, on Sec Checks?
Are they forcing you to re-run the Grades and various rundowns?

People with whom I talk, who are on lines in the Church of Scientology, tell me they are forced to re-do actions they have already done, especially the Purification Rundown and the recently released Survival Rundown. Well, sometimes this is needed. But does everyone need it?
L. Ron Hubbard writes in HCO Bulletin of 14 June 1970 C/S Series 4, RETURN PROGRAM:
“In other words, when the case, found in trouble at a level, is fully repaired and winning, the C/S studies the current data on the case to establish the major levels that are out and then gets these into a program which then, session by session, is followed.”
Per LRH, if the progress of the case is smooth or if after the correction there are no problems with the previous rundowns and grades, these should not be addressed!
My advice to you is to look for an organization, which thoroughly follows these instructions given by Ron.
I hope the data given above, has been useful to you.
In the next article I will send you, you will learn the reason why the top technical terminals of the C of S have left staff since 1982 and how this information can help you now. You will read a non-confidential reference written by Ron regarding the higher OT levels. This reference will shed light on the biggest alteration of the Bridge made in 1982. You will be able to find this data in the Technical Volumes.
