Tami No. 2: The OT Levels Explained

Welcome, my dear friends to the OT Levels !

In the last article, we spoke about possible barriers to smooth progress up the Bridge to full OT. In case you did not read the previous article, I recommend that you read it first.

Today, we will talk about the OT levels, what they are and how one can get there.

We will begin with a short story:

Around the year 1982, L. Ron Hubbard resigned from actively managing the Church of Scientology. He entrusted certain people with managing and monitoring the Scientology organization. Within a few months, a young and ambitious new leader expelled most of the executives chosen by LRH. A few years later, David Miscavige became the sole decision-maker within Scientology and Scientologists were demanded to become loyal only to him.

What were his objectives, remains a mystery, known only to himself. We can only figure these out by the results of his actions.

Shortly after he took over, he began to label most of the brilliant Tech personnel as Suppressive Persons. He specifically labeled as SP’s the Senior Case Supervisiors and top executives  who had worked closely with Ron.

These individuals, who had served under Ron for many years, were forced to leave the Church of Scientology. Some of them lost faith and chose ‘WOG’ careers, selling cars or becoming real-estate agents or other careers. Yet a few, more dedicated and courageous, decided not to betray their loyalty to Ron and continued to help people by delivering Scientology services outside the Church.

The most senior Tech terminals, who worked closely with Ron and assisted in the development of the OT Levels, salvaged the OT materials when they left. They saw that the Church was now under the control of a ruthless tyrant, who immediately began a campaign of corrupting the OT Levels and removing from the Bridge major sections. They obviously had no trust in the new boss nor did they believe that he would be able to ethically use the most powerful Scientology materials.

And they were right.

Since the early 1980’s, thanks to the efforts of a handful of Ron’s most loyal friends, the delivery of the OT levels has ceased to be a monopoly. As a fervent Scientologist, I am happy to state, that the OT Levels are being delivered accurately and standardly, outside the Church, for over 33 years!

Of course, there are squirrels, but at the same time there are fully standard high-class auditors and supervisors who deliver these Levels. Some of them personally worked with L. Ron Hubbard.

Currently, there are many groups around the world that deliver the OT Levels outside the Church of Scientology.

This sad story is a sufficiently true depiction of what has been happening in the Scientology world over the recent 32 years. However, there is a happy end to this story: standard delivery of OT Levels outside the Church of Scientology is real and is happening.

The OT Levels and Abilities Gained

Let us describe briefly the OT Levels and give a summary of the gains available from each of them. As you know, Ron specified that these levels remain confidential. Therefore, my explanations cannot provide the full data of the OT Sections.

Ron Hubbard defined the state of OT as follows: “Let us look at the definition of OT – cause over thought, life, form, matter, energy, space and time.” (from: Policy Letter “OT Orgs” 14.1.1969). Another definition is found in the technical dictionary, page 280, “7. This state of being is attained by drills and familiarity after the state of clear has been obtained. A real OT has no reactive bank, is cause over matter, energy, space, time and thought and is completely free.”

Well, what is the difference between Clear and OT? Clear is defined as “A being without a reactive mind of his own” (from: the Bridge to Toatal Freedom, Classification, Gradation and Awarness Chart of Levels and Certificates).

Ron fully clarifies the difference between Clear and OT in Ron’s Journal 67 of 1967 (an important speech of Ron, known as RJ 67, in which he announced the release of OT III): “A man is clear on the first dynamic. It is necessary to become OT in order to reach clear on all dynamics. Including the dynamic of society and of the physical universe.”

The state of OT is the final product of the Bridge to Total Freedom. When a person is Clear he has no longer a reactive mind of his own. But he is still influenced, in some way or another, by his other dynamics, for instance his relatives, the society in which he lives or the physical universe. Ron says: “Thus there is a gradient scale of OT. It’s not an absolute. One is as OT as he can cause things.

One of the things to cause is target attainment. When somebody can push through a target to completion, he’s to that degree OT.” (from: Policy Letter “OT Orgs” 14.1.1969)

Thus, the state of OT is attained gradually, that means, the individual goes through a set of grades and in each grade he comes closer to his ideal state in all the dynamics. These grades are the OT Levels. The OT levels unleash the power and abilities concealed in the being. A being who is OT is free to set and attain each target he wishes.

The original OT Levels as Developed by Ron Hubbard

Ron Hubbard developed the OT Levels from OT I to OT VIII, starting in the ’50s of the previous century. OT III, the wall of fire, was developed by Ron and released in 1967. This was announced by Ron in his RJ 67 quoted above.

1978 is the year in which Ron enhanced technology markedly. Ron described in detail the development of this year in Ron’s Journal 30 which was issued in 17.12.1978 as LRH Executive Directive 301 Int. Ron says: “1978 was indeed the year of tech breakthroughs!” I strongly advice you to read this article in full. It is in tech volume XI, page 380. (The name of this issue: Ron’s Journal 30, 1978 – The Year of Lightening Fast New Tech).

For example, in this year Ron released the Purification Rundown and New Era Dianetics and designed the tech as we know it today. Ron counts 12 innovations under the heading “Discoveries and Advancements in Tech in 1978”. No. 10. This section is devoted to a new process called NED for OTs (NOTs for short).

Ron describes the new process: “10. NED for OTs. The discovery and development of techniques by which the Second Wall of Fire can be overcome.

This consists of 29 fantastic new confidential rundowns, delivered by a specially trained OT auditor.

The auditors are in training right now from AOs to give NED for OTs to all those who are OT III…”

“Some of the miracles of life have been exposed to full view for the first time ever in NED for OTs.”

In the same article, RJ 30, Ron details the OT Levels under the heading “Advanced Orgs”, page 388:

5. 5.      The Clearing Course. …
6. 6.      Operating Thetan I. …
7. 7.      OT II.
8. 8.      OT III. This is the big step and one has to allow time for it.
9. 9.      OT III Expanded.
10. 10.  OT VII. This is an auditing step by a professional OT auditor. It can be given in any sequence after OT III Expanded and before OT VIII. (Editor’s Note: yes, it is not a mistake, OT VII comes after OT III and before OT IV.)
11. 11.  NED for OTs. This is the big news of the OT world. … There is very wild excitement on the results of NED for OTs as, of course, they’ve never been seen before on this or any other planet. NED for OTs can be given any time after OT III and before OT VIII and is a prerequisite for OT VIII.
12. 12.  OT IV.
13. 13.  OT V.

What happened to the OT Levels in the Church of Scientology?

When we examine the Bridge to Total Freedom, currently in use by the Church of Scientology, we find a significant deviation from the Bridge as developed by Ron Hubbard and described in Ron’s Journal 30.

NED for OTs, released by of Ron in 1978 and announced in RJ 30, is not an OT Level and therefore does not have a number as an OT Level. Ron describes NOT’s as a rundown to be done after OT III and before OT VIII, so that every person who progresses on the OT Levels will receive NOTs auditing and will also do the original OT Levels – IV, V, VI, VII and VIII.

In the early 1980’s, when Ron ceased supervising personally the managing of the Church, The “new” management altered the Bridge so as to lose the true, original OT Levels. In the Church’s Bridge, NOTs appears as three separate OT Levels! NOTs in the church is New OT V, New OT VI and New OT VII! The four original OT Levels that Ron numbered as OT IV, V, VI and VII have disappeared and instead, the Church’s Bridge shows New OT IV – OT Drug Rundown, and NOTs divided into three levels.

We have spoken to several veteran Scientologists who told us that during the 1970s, up to 1982, they did the original OT Levels and have experienced huge wins.

 

The Abilities Attained on the OT Levels:

OT I – Extroverts a being and brings about an awareness of himself as a thetan in relation to others and the physical universe.

OT II – Ability to confront the Whole Track.

OT III – Return of full self determinism; freedom from overwhelm.

OT Drug Rundown – Eradication of the last vestiges of the effects of drugs on the being.

Audited NOTs – Completion of Audited NOTs Rundowns and ready to begin Solo NOTs.

Solo NOTs Auditor Course – Ability to audit Solo NOTs.

Solo NOTs – Cause over life.

OT IV – Certainty of self as a being.

OT V – Re-familiarizes a thetan exterior with the physical universe; freedom from fixated introversion into MEST.

OT VI – Ability to operate freely as a thetan exterior and to act pan-determinedly; extends the influence of the thetan to the universe of others.

OT VII – Rehabilitation of intention; ability to project intention.

Personally, I as a spiritual being like these end phenomena very much. I am certain that once a person acquires these abilities, he or she becomes a very powerful being.

So, where can one get all these OT Levels in a safe environment without being terrorized by registrars asking for donations or recruiters? Where can one get smooth and standard auditing? You will read about it in the next article which I will send to your e-mail address in two days.
